This includes health risks, vaccinology, malaria prevention, and pre-travel counseling.

Infectious disease specialist – a doctor who is board-certified and specially trained in diagnosing and treating infectious diseases.
Nurse practitioner (NP) – a registered nurse who has completed a master’s degree. NPs are licensed to see patients for assessment, treatment and follow-up. University of Colorado Hospital has NPs with international Certificate in Travel Health.
Registered nurse (RN) – Graduated from a formal nursing education program and is licensed by the state of Colorado . University of Colorado Hospital has RNs with special training in travel health.
