DAY BY DAY PROGRAMDay 1: CUZCO Upon arrival at Cusco airport you will be met and driven to Hotel, where youare advised to rest for a while to acclimatize to the altitude. In theafternoon Cusco City Tour From 2 PM to 6.30pm .This tour includes the Qoricancha (temple of the sun) and the Cathedral .The tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to famous fortress ofSacsahuaman , then to Q'enqo , Puca Pucara and Tambomachay Including Spanishand English speaking guide. Also included in this is a tourist card, givingyou access to all the sites in the Cuzco area as a whole (i.e., includingoutside of the City itself). This tour finishes at 18:00, Overnight . Day 2: CUZCO / MACHU PICCHU (overnight) All day excursion by train to Machu Picchu. At 5:30 am you will leave thehotel to the station to take the 6:00 am train. Travel is in "Vistadome"Class (formerly "Autowagon"). At 9:40 a.m., you will arrive at the AguasCalientes Station, from where you take a 25 minute bus ride to the ruins ofMachu Picchu. Once there, you will have a guided tour, with an Englishspeaking professional guide. The ruins are on the eastern slope of MachuPicchu in two separate arcas: the agricultural and the urban. Lunch at theMachu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge (included). Overnight at the Hotel ( Breakfastand lunch included).Day 3: MACHU PICCHU / CUZCO Morning at leisure to explore the ruins on your own (entrance fee andtransportation not included). Relax at the local hot springs, and enjoy theenormous beauty of Machu Picchu that certainly deserves an extra day. In theafternoon you will take the train to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco, transferto hotel. (Breakfast included).Day 4: PISAC & OLLANTAYTAMBO This tour is available on Tuesdays , Thursdays or Sundays only . Breakfast. You will be picked up at 8:45 am. Full day excursion to the UrubambaValley visiting: the village of Pisac, a picturesque town of creole andcolonial aspect and its lndian market and craftfair. Lunch provided. In theafternoon you'll visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architecturalgroup that in the days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a giganticagricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex, thenthe Chincero market.
